Nita M. Lowey 21st Century
‌Community Learning Center Grant

STAR Club, Inc. will be applying for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Spring 2021 sponsored by the WV Department of Education.

Activities and programs

STAR Club is excited to offer everyone a change to play the game of pickleball, a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. We welcome all levels from beginners to advanced.

Blessing closet

Clothing items are given by members of the community and the kids will go shopping (free) for themselves or members of their families.

The well

Our youth are engaged in service, Bible study, and other opportunities for spiritual growth in a safe and fun community of peers and caring adults. We stay connected with students and provide the comforts of a spiritual home for young people as they grow in their faith. Perhaps most importantly, The Well provides youth with a place where they can get to know a “great cloud of witnesses” — adults who share a common sense of values and a common delight in teenagers.
